MarginPatrol provides daily component-based operating-profit monitoring and related record review for Shopify stores. It is not an accounting firm, audit service or tax adviser. The Financial Disclaimer defines the product boundary without excluding mandatory duties.

4. Intellectual property and external platforms

The MarginPatrol brand, software and materials belong to the operator or relevant licensors. Merchants retain their rights in store data. Third-party names identify relevant platforms or integrations; they do not imply ownership, endorsement, partnership or certification beyond an actually authorised relationship.

Shopify operates its own platform and app-subscription confirmation. Other linked platforms operate under their own applicable terms. A prepared application listing, mobile build or link placeholder does not establish publication in an external store.

5. Accuracy and updates

The operator must keep the published identifying details accurate and consistent across contracts, invoices where applicable and privacy notices. A technical content update is not retroactive acceptance of new Terms. Corrections to an address or contact are identified without falsely changing historical agreement dates.
