Purpose
The Data Processing Addendum describes how MarginPatrol processes personal data on behalf of merchants where privacy laws require processor or service-provider terms.
Roles
Depending on applicable law, the merchant may act as controller or business, and MarginPatrol may act as processor or service provider for merchant store data.
MarginPatrol may act as controller for limited account, billing, security and service analytics data.
Processing Details
Processing supports profit monitoring, Data Quality, alerts, reports, integrations, support and security.
MarginPatrol does not intentionally require customer PII by default, though some provider payloads may incidentally include it and should be redacted or discarded where not needed.
