MarginPatrol v1 calculates net revenue, COGS, shipping costs, payment fees, refunds, discounts, ad spend, profit before ads, profit after ads, margin and Data Quality status.
What MarginPatrol Does Not Calculate by Default
MarginPatrol does not calculate income tax, sales tax filings, VAT filings, payroll, rent, warehouse fixed costs, owner salary, loan payments, depreciation, full cash flow, full profit and loss statements or audited financial statements by default.
Accuracy Statuses
Confirmed means enough data is available for reliable operating calculation.
Estimated means part of the data is rule-based.
Preliminary means data may update later.
Incomplete means important data is missing.
Missing means data is absent and needs setup.
Excluded means the component is intentionally not included.
Claims to Avoid
MarginPatrol must not claim guaranteed profit, exact profit, tax-ready profit, accounting-grade profit, audited profit, automatic margin fixes or automatic ad optimization.
